Mr. Andrews served as Vice-President of Drilling for Chesapeake Operating Inc. where he had been employed in various positions of responsibility from 1990 until his retirement in 2006. Mr. Andrews had been involved in the oil-field service industry prior to his employment with Chesapeake from 1987 thru 1990. Mr. Andrews was employed by Phillips Petroleum from 1977 thru 1987 and following graduation from high school in 1974 was employed for various well service companies and roustabout service companies until his employment began with Phillips.
Mr. Andrews has over 15 years of oil and gas experience, spending most of his career as leader in the oil field services sector, while supporting oil and gas client drilling, completion, and production programs across multiple regions. During his career, Mr. Andrews has been employed as a COO by Crescent Services, as a VP of Business Development at Select Energy Services, and has held management positions at Terracon Engineering, Basin Environmental, and Stronghold Resource Partners. Mr. Andrews holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from East Central Oklahoma University.
Mr. Daily started his career as an ironworker in 1996, then moved to pipefitting in 2000 with United Mechanical. With training and education, he was able to transfer his skills to the oilfield as a drilling fluids specialist for Baker Hughes in 2004 before transitioning to Anchor Drilling Fluids in 2007. During his time at Anchor Drilling Fluids, he was responsible for designing drilling fluid to increase drill rates, decrease down time, provide wellbore stability, lubricity, and cleaning efficiencies. In 2014, he served as Anchor's Midcon Regional Manager helping transform the company into the largest independent fluids provider in North America. Then in 2017, Mr. Daily joined the team and is serving as our Vice President of Business Development.
Mrs. Newsom joined Crescent Consulting in 2007 and has an official title of Executive Account Manager but really, she does it all. Angie’s responsibilities grew as Tradesmen Direct grew, and her role supports team members in operations as well as team members in the back office all while ensuring our office is running smoothly. Having over twenty years of administrative experience, Mrs. Newsom is an integral part of the team, and we are thankful she’s been a part of the team for as many years as she has. When she’s away from the office, Mrs. Newsom spends time enjoying nature, loving on her fur babies, participating in community charity projects, or traveling the world to explore new places and cultures.
Serving as our Vendor Relations Manager, Ms. Connie Rogers joined the team in August 2018 and quickly became an integral part of the team. She started her career in oil and gas as a project manager with Beacon Environmental restoring abandoned oil well sites for the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, and also worked for Chesapeake Energy as a Senior Engineering Technician. Connie has one of the kindest and sweetest demeanors you will find and does an incredible job working with our subcontractors. Connie received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Andrews-McKay joined the team as a Vendor Relations Associate in 2018. Holley spent her childhood and teen years in southern Oklahoma and southern Texas where she developed a love for all things oil and gas. She worked in a Chesapeake Energy field office as a teenager and upon graduation from college worked at Devon Energy Corporation in the corporate office. Holley is a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan, enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Andrews-McKay holds B.S. degrees in Economics and Business Administration from The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Mr. Velasquez joined the team in 2011 and serves as the IT Manager. He supports team members in IT operations in the field and in the back office including job functions of networking, web developer, graphic design and social media, and server and computer support. From 2011 – 2017 he was the IT Manager at Crescent Companies where he oversaw IT operations at over a dozen locations across seven states. In late 2017, with ownership changes in Crescent Companies, Nate determined it was best for him to continue his career with Crescent Consulting when it formed its new ownership group. Nate has been providing IT services to Tradesmen Direct since it was formed. Nate was a communications paratrooper in the United States Army for ten years where he served four tours to Iraq. Nate holds a bachelor’s degree in Technical Management and an associate degree in Web Graphic Design from Devry University.
